Two full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available to support elementary school campuses serving students in grades K-5. Both openings are contract roles extending through the end of the school year, designed for certified professionals with expertise in pediatric speech and language therapy.

Positions Details:

  • First assignment begins March 15, 2026, ending May 29, 2026, at an elementary campus located at 535 Easterling Street, Prichard, AL.
  • Second assignment starting ASAP through May 29, 2026, with the campus location to be determined.
  • Both positions require onsite presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to create individualized education plans.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district policies.
  • Support caseloads typically serving K through 5th-grade students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with school-age children is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to complete required licensure documentation prior to start date.

Additional Information:

  • Positions require approximately 35 hours per week.
  • Contract in process, with finalization anticipated prior to assignment start.
  • Positions are located within the Mobile County School District.
