Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure (requires ONE of the following):
- Professional Speech Language Pathologist License OR
- Speech Language Pathologist Educator Certification
- Note: You need one or the other, not both
Additional Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Experience working with K-8 students in school-based settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for diverse communication disorders
- Knowledge of school-based speech language pathology practices
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to full-time employment (35 hours per week)
- Availability for immediate start through May 22, 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students at one assigned school
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Provide consultation services to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Build consistent therapeutic relationships at single campus assignment
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
