Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure (requires ONE of the following):

  • Professional Speech Language Pathologist License OR
  • Speech Language Pathologist Educator Certification
  • Note: You need one or the other, not both

Additional Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Experience working with K-8 students in school-based settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for diverse communication disorders
  • Knowledge of school-based speech language pathology practices
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
  • Commitment to full-time employment (35 hours per week)
  • Availability for immediate start through May 22, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students at one assigned school
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
  • Provide consultation services to teachers and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
  • Build consistent therapeutic relationships at single campus assignment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
