School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Mobile, Alabama
This full-time position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students within a public school setting in Mobile, AL. The role offers an opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students at the Chastang-Fournier K-8 school, providing essential speech and language services to promote communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional License or Educator Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (one required)
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
- Ability to work on-site full time, approximately 35 hours per week
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based on-site at a K-8 school in Mobile, Alabama
- Contract position running from ASAP through May 22, 2026
