Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Saint Paul, Minnesota
A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive services in a K-12 public school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This contract opportunity involves delivering specialized speech and language support to general elementary and center-based program students with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Candidates will manage caseloads averaging around 50 students, addressing a range of speech and language needs, including articulation and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in elementary general education and specialized programs
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and document progress using SpedForms
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to integrate speech-language goals within classroom settings
- Support students across multiple disability areas, focusing on developmental cognitive and autism spectrum disorders
- Deliver services onsite during regular school hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Minnesota SLP license in good standing
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with special education regulations and IEP development
- Expertise in serving students with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students independently
- Commitment to onsite service delivery within Saint Paul area schools
Contract Details:
- Position 1: Immediate start through April 8, 2026
- Position 2: February 1 through May 1, 2026, with possible extension through the end of the school year
- Full-time hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite presence required
