A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school setting in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Implementing therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Documenting and tracking student progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing professional recommendations
Desired qualifications include:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for Minnesota
- Experience working within a school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to build rapport with students and communicate effectively with families and educators
- Familiarity with educational and special education regulations and documentation requirements
