A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage across multiple elementary and middle school locations in the Saint Paul, MN area. This role offers the opportunity to support students with speech and language needs in a dynamic school environment, following a 3:1 service delivery model (three weeks direct therapy, one week indirect support).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students, including those in Setting III CDC.
- Manage a caseload focused exclusively on therapy services; evaluation duties are handled separately by an evaluation team.
- Provide onsite support across multiple school sites according to scheduled leave coverage periods.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with district policies.
- Maintain documentation and progress reports for assigned students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license meeting state requirements.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but open to candidates with SLP credentials; Candidates should not be SLPA.
- Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly desired.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to varied school environments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Anoka-Hennepin School District area, including Brooklyn Center and Blaine, MN.
- Contract Duration: 12/15/2025 – 05/29/2026.
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Service Model: 3 weeks direct therapy, 1 week indirect services.
- Caseload: Typical elementary school caseload with some Setting III CDC students.
