A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for a leave replacement from March through June 2026, serving elementary and middle school students in general and special education settings.
This position is based in Spring Lake Park, MN, within a vibrant educational community focused on student growth and support. The role involves collaborating with educators and families at Westwood Intermediate School (grades 5-8) to provide individualized speech-language services that enhance student communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans for diverse learners
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies accordingly
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Documenting services and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications desired:
- Master’s (M.A./M.S.) or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and collaborative abilities
