A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This role offers both in-person and virtual options, with specific caseloads beginning in early January 2026 and concluding by late March 2026. The position is designed for licensed professionals holding a valid Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate and excludes Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) from consideration.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Minnesota license
  • Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Education Certificate required
  • Open to virtual and contract-to-hire clinicians who meet Minnesota employment requirements
  • Experience with school-based speech-language services preferred
  • New graduates (Clinical Fellows) may apply; this opportunity is not available for SLPAs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students on maternity leave caseloads
  • Manage therapy schedules for two virtual caseloads: 0.4 FTE at an elementary school in Champlin Park (1/5/2026–3/29/2026) and 0.2 FTE at an elementary school in Blaine (1/28/2026–3/16/2026)
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement IEP goals
  • Maintain documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state regulations
  • Adhere to the Minnesota 1.0 law limiting weekly work hours to 40 for virtual practitioners

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Positions are based in the Anoka area and include virtual options
  • Contract duration aligns with specified maternity leave timeframes
