A rewarding contract role is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students (K-5) in Minneapolis, MN. This position involves managing a caseload of 40-45 students, providing essential speech and language therapy services within an educational setting. The opportunity is designed to cover a leave and runs from ASAP until February 13th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to elementary-aged children (K-5), addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective intervention plans.
- Assess, document, and track student progress using appropriate tools and school guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and strategies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure to work in school settings.
- Experience working with elementary school populations, particularly K-5.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-45 students effectively.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy regulations and documentation practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location and Work Hours:
- Position located in Minneapolis, MN.
- Full-time contract with 40 hours per week.
- Daily schedule: 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
