School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Lakeville, Minnesota
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized support for a diverse K-12 student population in a school setting located in Lakeville, MN. This full-time contract position spans the current school year, delivering comprehensive speech therapy services to approximately 35 students, including those with multiple disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique speech and language needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational success.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with Minnesota state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for goal setting and progress evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience providing speech therapy services in school environments, preferably K-12.
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities is highly desirable.
- Candidates must be fully licensed; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) will not be considered.
- Must be able to work on-site; remote or hybrid work arrangements are not offered.
