Remote IEP Team SLP Minnesota Virtual Schools
We are seeking a Remote IEP Team SLP to serve as the speech-language representative on IEP teams within Minnesota virtual public schools. This 1099 position emphasizes collaboration over caseload management and is ideal for SLPs interested in planning, compliance, and support roles rather than direct service.
Responsibilities:

Participate in virtual IEP meetings as a speech-language specialist.

Review evaluation reports and translate results into goals.

Advise teams on eligibility, service minutes, and placement.

Ensure alignment between IEP goals and present levels.

Provide written IEP contributions and review prior to meetings.

Collaborate with district case managers and evaluators.

Support goal-writing and data-collection practices.

Interpret state guidelines for district personnel.

Assist in developing inclusive communication goals.

Provide compliance documentation as needed.

Train staff on documentation and procedural expectations.
-
Contribute to FAPE and least restrictive environment planning.

Monitor district deadlines and due process compliance.

Maintain flexible scheduling for district meeting calendars.

Support new case managers with best practices.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
