Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (LTS-SLP) | 25-25 SY
Spring Lake Park Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist to provide coverage for a leave of absence. This full-time role serves our Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young learners in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Location: Spring Lake Park, MN
Position: Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Anticipated Dates: Approximately December 15, 2025 – March 16, 2026
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services to a preschool-aged caseload.

Actively participate in the IEP process, including evaluation reports, goal development, and leading IEP meetings.

Deliver evidence-based interventions for students across diverse populations, including:

Articulation & Phonological Disorders
-
Receptive & Expressive Language Disorders
-
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
-
Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, paraprofessionals, and parents to ensure student success.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current Minnesota SLP License (or in process)
Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Experience with preschool and early childhood populations is highly preferred.
