Speech Therapist in Gardnerville, NV
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school setting located in Gardnerville, NV. This contract position spans the school year and offers a full-time schedule with approximately 30 hours per week across three different sites. Candidates will work with a diverse caseload of students from PreK through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to students across PreK-12th grade.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Deliver services across three school sites, adapting to different environments and student needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Nevada SLP license is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is preferred.
- Previous experience working as a school-based SLP is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies for school-aged children.
- Effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
