Overview:
A school district in Milpitas, California is seeking a qualified and committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, in-person only position supporting a mixed caseload across three nearby school sites, all located within 5–10 minutes of one another.
Position Schedule & Site Breakdown:

3 days/week at one high school
-
1.5 days/week at Elementary School #1

0.5 day/week at Elementary School #2

Daily Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
Caseload:
-
Approximately 40–50 students to case manage
-
Provide direct services to 20–25 students
-
Support spans across preschool to high school age range
-
SLPAs on staff provide services to additional students; SLP will collaborate and supervise as needed
Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech/language therapy services to a portion of the caseload

Complete assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation

Manage IEPs, conduct evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings

Supervise and collaborate with assigned SLPAs
-
Coordinate with special education and general education staff across all sites
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active California SLP License
-
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential or eligibility

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
School-based experience preferred
-
Must be available to work onsite only – no virtual services permitted
