Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active North Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in an educational setting, especially K–5, is highly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring processes
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with staff and families
- High degree of independence, professionalism, and organization
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized support plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals, tracking progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language supports in the classroom
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain documentation that is thorough, timely, and compliant with school and state requirements
- Provide consultation and education to school staff and families regarding communication strategies and resources
