Speech Language Pathologist in Middletown, DE
A K-12 school in Middletown, DE is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position, available ASAP through June 12, 2026. This role is ideal for professionals with active Delaware licensure/certification and valid CCC credentials focused exclusively on SLP duties (SLPAs are not being considered). The position supports a dynamic school environment with a flexible approach to on-site or hybrid work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Conduct evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Attend team and parent meetings relevant to caseload
- Collect and monitor student progress data
- Prepare detailed therapy notes for documentation and reporting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Delaware licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience with school-aged populations K-12
- Proficiency with Data Service Center and Power School IEP software systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday
- Hybrid work arrangement preferred, with onsite expectations as needed
- Location: Middletown, Delaware
