A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide in-person services within schools located in Mifflintown, PA, and surrounding counties including Mifflin, Juniata, and Fulton. This contract role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time hours aligned with the academic calendar for the 2025-2026 school year, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in school settings.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and track student progress.
- Provide services in compliance with state standards and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Valid educator credentials (Instructional I or II) for the school setting.
- Experience working as an SLP in schools.
- Ability to provide services exclusively in person.
- Flexibility to work within Mifflin County, Juniata County, or Fulton County locations.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Additional Details:
- Caseload will be determined based on candidate location and expertise.
- Extended School Year (ESY) services are tentative and follow the school calendar.
- This position requires strict in-person attendance; remote work or teletherapy options are not available.
