School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Midlothian, Virginia
This full-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) opportunity is available for a dedicated professional eager to support K-12 students across various caseloads and age groups in the Richmond area. The position offers the chance to work with onsite facilitators and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide comprehensive therapy services within a school setting.
Located in Midlothian, VA, this contract role is set to begin in January 2026 and will continue through the end of May 2026. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality speech and language services to help students achieve their communication goals in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license
- Experience with school-aged children, preferably within K-12 settings
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads effectively
- Collaborative mindset to work alongside SLPAs and onsite team members
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Document and report student progress in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
