Virginia Telehealth SLP Contractor for School Districts
We are hiring a Virginia Telehealth Speech-Language Pathologist Contractor to provide virtual services for K-12 students across multiple school districts. This 1099 contract offers flexible hours and the chance to work independently while collaborating with educational teams. You will deliver speech therapy, conduct evaluations, and ensure compliance with Virginia’s Department of Education regulations. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills and experience with telepractice platforms.
Responsibilities:

Provide teletherapy aligned with student IEPs.

Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments.

Collaborate with school staff and families.

Develop and revise treatment plans as needed.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings.

Document sessions and maintain compliance.

Support students with a range of speech and language disorders.

Provide training and resources for parents and teachers.

Track service delivery and student progress.
-
Manage scheduling and caseload independently.
-
Ensure data privacy and confidentiality.

Attend virtual professional development.
-
Support AAC and assistive communication needs.

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Adapt therapy to diverse student needs.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
