Speech Language Pathologist in Midland, GA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 public school setting in Midland, GA. This contract position offers a flexible schedule ranging from part-time to full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) for the 2023-2024 school year, with an assignment extending through May 21st, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to student success
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator certificate
- SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseload based on district needs and candidate experience
