Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Middletown, RI
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time opportunities with partner school districts in the Middletown, RI area. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful support to students with communication needs in a professional and collaborative educational setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following Rhode Island state and local certification requirements:

Valid Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Rhode Island Department of Health
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred (CFY applicants may be considered depending on district needs)
-
Current or eligible Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) Educator Certificate for Speech-Language Pathology Support Professional
-
Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting through the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE)

Authorization to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
-
Provide direct therapy services for students with speech and language disorders
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development activities
-
Provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies and supports
