This contract position offers the opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting, serving students from early childhood through 6th grade. The role is based in New Castle, DE, with a start date as soon as possible and a contract end date of May 21, 2026. This position is ideal for a licensed, experienced speech-language pathologist seeking to work full-time (35 hours per week) in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and assist in classroom accommodations and modifications
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Delaware licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings is highly preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is beneficial
