A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary school students through a contract position during the current school year. This role provides valuable experience working within a school setting, delivering essential speech and language services that promote student communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy sessions, including teletherapy when appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or licensed SLP credential
- Ability to effectively provide teletherapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and staff
