A travel position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services, located in Middletown, CT. This opportunity focuses on supporting a high school caseload with approximately 45 students, providing targeted speech and language therapy throughout the academic year, starting immediately through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy interventions tailored to high school students’ needs.
  • Manage a caseload of 45 students, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed, implemented, and monitored for progress.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs in compliance with educational guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with high school-aged students.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Flexibility to travel and adaptable to varied school environments.

Schedule & Caseload:

  • Approximately 25.5 hours per week.
  • Caseload includes 45 high school students.
  • Position runs now through the end of the school year.
