High School Pediatric SLP in Middleton, WI
This opening is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across K–12 school settings in Verona and Fitchburg, WI. The position offers a part-time schedule with Fridays off, providing a balanced workweek. The SLP will serve an itinerant role across three school sites, working with a diverse caseload approximately aged K–21.
Location: Verona and Fitchburg, Wisconsin
Assignment Type: Contract (Late January – June 5th)
Schedule: 3–4 days per week (Fridays off)
Hours: 24–32 hours per week
School Sites:
- Elementary School – Verona, WI
- Middle School – Fitchburg, WI
- High School – Verona, WI
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, review, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Manage a caseload of students spanning kindergarten through age 21
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Wisconsin SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license for SLP services
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting and clearances as required by the district
- Experienced in pediatric SLP services within school environments
- Skills in teletherapy, healthcare settings, or CFY preferred but not required
