Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in both English and Spanish

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to bilingual students

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Federal and State Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology License required
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
