A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (English and Spanish) is needed to support a K-12 school district located in Mesquite, TX. This contract assignment runs from January 5th, 2026, through May 28th, 2026, offering a 37.5-hour workweek. The role is itinerant, covering multiple campuses with a central office at the Student Support Center. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic evaluation team while having access to district resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations as part of the district's evaluation team
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and monitor student intervention plans
  • Manage an itinerant caseload across multiple campuses
  • Utilize district-provided test kits and technology/software tools
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with families and team members
  • Participate in meetings, provide progress reports, and assist with compliance documentation

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages, facilitating bilingual student assessments and communication
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
  • Strong organizational and evaluative skills
  • Ability to work independently in an itinerant role and remotely one day per week

Location:

  • Mesquite, Texas – servicing multiple campuses within the school district with a hybrid work option (one remote day weekly)
