A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) is needed to support student needs at a public elementary school located in a welcoming district in southern New Mexico. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a diverse caseload and collaborative team. The role is based in a beautiful area close to El Paso, TX, and the unique landscape of White Sands National Park.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with a caseload of approximately 60, including those in structured communication classrooms (SCCs).
- Deliver high-quality therapy focusing on current student needs without the pressure of addressing compensatory services at this time.
- Collaborate with bilingual and monolingual colleagues; bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Support students using AAC devices, with willingness to learn and expand expertise in this area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Mexico state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required. Candidates must have already applied or obtained the license as waiting for licensure is not possible.
- PED certification through the New Mexico Department of Education is required by the start date; candidates may begin working while certification is pending.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, with certification in School-Based Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply but not mandatory due to existing bilingual staff.
Additional Information:
- Contract position with flexible full-time (40 hours preferred) or part-time options available for on-site clinicians.
- Immediate start preferred, continuing through the end of the school year.
