A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized speech therapy services for students in grades K-8 at a K-12 school located in Mesa, AZ. This position is a full-time contract role for the current (2025-2026) school year, with consideration for the upcoming year. The position requires delivering individualized therapy to a caseload of approximately 58 students, supporting their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-8 students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license.
- IVP fingerprint clearance card as per state requirements.
- Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a speech therapy setting is preferred.
