Located in Mesa, AZ, this opportunity offers a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position serving K-12 students for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract role requires onsite work with approximately 35 hours per week. Multiple openings are available, accommodating a variety of caseloads and grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive assessments to evaluate student skill levels, progress, and achievement.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote effective learning for diverse student needs.
- Schedule and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Develop, review, and revise IEPs in collaboration with educational teams.
- Complete Medicaid Reimbursement Direct Service Billing forms as necessary.
- Collaborate and consult with parents, teachers, and staff to support student progress.
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations in articulation, voice, fluency, and language.
- Prepare and submit thorough evaluation summary reports.
- Coordinate scheduling for direct and consultation services as designated in IEPs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Completion of the IVP Fingerprint Card background check.
- Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or experience in school-based speech-language pathology is preferred.
