Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Grass Valley / Nevada City, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Caseload: ~30–40 students (multi-grade, single site)
Work Days: 185 days/year
About the Role:
Enjoy the balance of meaningful work and scenic mountain living. This small, tight-knit district seeks an SLP to serve one to two schools with strong team collaboration and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:

Screen and evaluate students (preschool – 8th grade) for speech-language impairments

Provide direct and consultative therapy
-
Design and track progress on IEPs and 504 plans
-
Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers
-
Engage with families during IEP and SST processes
-
Contribute to MTSS teams for speech-related concerns

Maintain timely documentation
Requirements:
-
Master’s in SLP
-
California licensure or pending licensure
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
CFY supervision available (experienced mentor on staff)
-
Ability to work independently in a resource-limited setting
