School Speech Therapist | Cordova, Tennessee
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Cordova, TN. This contract position supports a dynamic educational environment where you will provide essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students’ needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Serve students across various age groups, adapting therapy techniques to meet developmental stages
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification specific to SLP
- Current Tennessee Board of Health License for speech-language pathology
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, with the ability to manage caseloads effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student growth and success
Location and Hours:
- Position based on-site in Cordova, TN, with no remote or hybrid options
- Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
- Contract duration from ASAP through the end of the 2025-2026 school year
