School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Cordova, Tennessee
Providing Speech-Language Pathology services within a full-time, contract position, this role supports K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Cordova, TN. The position involves working directly on-site within schools to deliver comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and support student communication needs across a wide age range from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across various grade levels.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Tennessee Board of Health license to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working in educational settings serving diverse age groups, from early childhood to high school.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location: Cordova, Tennessee (on-site only, no remote or hybrid options).
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Contract term from ASAP through May 21, 2026.
