Blazer Jobs is actively working with school districts across Oregon to hire licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 school year. If you’re passionate about helping students communicate more effectively and succeed in school, this opportunity could be a strong match.
Position Overview
This role involves delivering speech-language services to students from early childhood through high school. As an SLP in the school system, you’ll conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure each student’s communication goals are met.
We are currently hiring in Portland, Salem, Eugene, Beaverton, Bend, Medford, and surrounding school districts across the state.
Responsibilities Include

Conduct speech-language evaluations and write comprehensive reports

Provide direct therapy aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Develop treatment plans and maintain progress documentation
-
Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP team meetings, and re-evaluations
-
Coordinate with educators, support staff, and families to support student success
-
Supervise SLPAs, if applicable, following Oregon Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology guidelines
What We’re Looking For

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Oregon SLP license or the ability to obtain it before the school year begins
-
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and public school service delivery
-
Preferred experience with K–12 or pediatric populations

Must meet all Oregon Department of Education background clearance requirements
