This position is ideal for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist seeking a contract role in a K-12 school setting from January through March to cover an FMLA leave. The role requires onsite presence at both K-3 and Junior High schools, providing specialized support for students in speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in early childhood and junior high settings.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License required.
  • Possession of the Professional Educator License (PEL) and ASHA Certification preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows Year (CFY) candidates with relevant experience considered.
  • Experience working in pediatric and school environments highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
