Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mc Gregor, Texas
Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist within an elementary school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated caseload of approximately 40 elementary-aged students, providing essential speech and language services. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a full-time, Monday-through-Friday schedule.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
- Experience with pediatric populations preferred
- School-based SLP background desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents
- Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and education to families regarding therapy goals
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students
