Job Summary:
A school in Maywood, IL is actively hiring a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide support to early childhood students with mild to moderate speech and language needs. This is a full-time, school-based position with a meaningful impact on young learners' development.
Primary Duties:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments

Develop and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff

Maintain timely and accurate documentation

Manage an elementary caseload

Operate from a dedicated therapy space (details shared during onboarding)
Qualifications:

Active SLP-CCC license in Illinois and Illinois PEL

Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not required
-
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team

Must fulfill all district-specific onboarding requirements (e.g., background checks, fingerprinting)
