About the Position
Marysville School District is seeking a part-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This position is a .5 FTE (half-time), with a caseload of approximately 23 students.
While the assignment will most likely be at the elementary level, it is also possible that it could be preschool or high school, depending on current needs. The final assignment will be matched with the candidate’s interests and strengths at the time of hiring to ensure a good fit.
Potential Schedules

Elementary or Preschool: 8:25 AM – 3:55 PM

High School: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEPs

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized goals and treatment plans

Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration

Maintain timely documentation and progress monitoring
-
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Washington State SLP License
-
ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certificate required

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
-
School-based experience preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills
