Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to join our team in supporting students in a K-12 setting in Marlin, PA. This is a full-time, supervised position that provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience while working with a dynamic group of professionals. The SLP-CF will work under the mentorship of a licensed, experienced speech-language pathologist to develop their clinical skills and gain the required clinical fellowship hours to obtain full licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to determine the needs of students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with educators and parents to set goals.
  • Document and track student progress in accordance with state and district regulations.
  • Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, special education teams, and administrators, to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop goals and objectives for students.
  • Maintain a caseload of students, ensuring timely and effective delivery of therapy services.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision as required for the CF process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Completion of all coursework and clinical hours required for licensure.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based speech therapy services (preferred).
  • Strong passion for working with children and a commitment to improving student outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in school-based settings (internships or practicum).
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience with a diverse student population is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $40-45 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
