This contract position involves working Monday through Friday, serving approximately 40 speech students with needs in articulation, fluency, language, and voice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy to students across two local Head Start centers, an Early Learning Academy, and a private school.
- Attend, conduct, and document Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, ensuring compliance and collaborative goal setting.
- Complete IEP writing and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
- Administer language and speech screening evaluations.
- Perform Child Outcome Summaries (COS) entries for 3-year-old students entering the program and exits for those at 5.5 years of age.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience delivering teletherapy services is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood speech and language development.
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse speech and language disorders efficiently.
