A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support a dynamic elementary school community serving students from PreK through 5th grade. This contract position offers a focused opportunity to apply specialized skills in pediatric speech-language pathology within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and therapy services for students with speech and language needs.
- Manage a caseload not to exceed a weighted total of 80, ensuring effective, personalized care.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state regulations governing school-based services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification and experience as an SLP with credentials such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) highly preferred.
- Experience working in pediatric or healthcare settings, preferably with school-aged children.
- Ability to conduct assessments and interventions in line with educational and developmental standards.
- Possession of or eligibility for licensure in the state of Ohio.
