Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Marion, NC

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification is needed for a Pre K-5 caseload in a K-12 school setting located in Marion, NC. This contract position is scheduled for the current school year (CSY) and requires someone who can start as soon as possible. The role primarily serves one school site but occasionally involves travel to a daycare center to support a specific student.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) with experience in school-based settings.
- Skilled in working with pediatric populations, particularly Pre K through 5th grade.
- Proven ability to manage Medicaid billing processes.
- Comfortable providing services onsite; virtual therapy is not applicable as it is already in place.
- Independent professional without supervision requirements for CFs or SLPAs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to children ranging from Pre K to 5th grade, with caseload flexibility as needed.
- Collaborate with educators and daycare staff to support student communication goals.
- Manage documentation and billing, including Medicaid compliance.
- Provide in-person therapy services consistently, maintaining adherence to school schedules.
- Travel to daycare facility occasionally for student-specific therapy needs.
