School Speech Language Pathologist - Marietta, Georgia
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for maternity leave coverage in northern Atlanta, GA, starting early to mid-March through the end of the school year (May 22, 2026). This position is based onsite at one of two elementary schools located in Acworth and Woodstock, serving elementary-aged students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia DOE certification for Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Valid credentials with no special credentialing requirements for this role
- Previous experience in school settings is beneficial
- Candidates must be licensed SLPs; SLPA applicants will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy service delivery in accordance with the school district’s protocols
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with families and school personnel
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations within the school environment
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers and school teams regarding speech and language interventions
Position Details:
- Location: Northern Atlanta Area, GA (Acworth/Woodstock)
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Contract role covering maternity leave through the end of the current school year
- One site assignment per position
