Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Stone Mountain, Georgia
A K-12 school in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs or SLP-CFs) to provide integral speech and language services for students throughout the school year. Part-time schedules may also be considered for qualified candidates. This contract position offers a supportive work environment focused on fostering the communication skills and academic success of children grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and team consultations
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or enrollment
- Experience working as an SLP in schools, with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
