Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / CFY - Gainesville, GA
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist or an eager Clinical Fellow seeking a dynamic opportunity to positively impact students' lives? We are partnering with a supportive school district in Gainesville, GA, and are looking for an SLP or SLP-CFY for the upcoming school year. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment.
Location: Gainesville, GA Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Dates: August 12, 2025 – June 3, 2026 Hours: 35 hours/week On-site ONLY (Hybrid schedule available: 3 days onsite) Caseload: K-12, covering 2 schools. Specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process as the district has multiple needs.
Job Duties May Include:

Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.

Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.

Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.

Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.

Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate and compliant records, and participating in IEP meetings.

Consulting with school staff on strategies to facilitate communication development in the classroom.

For CFYs: Receiving mentorship and supervision to fulfill ASHA certification requirements.
Special Requirements:

Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License is required.

Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certification is required.

We welcome applications from Clinical Fellows (CFYs) who meet the licensure requirements.
Compensation:
For this contract position, the average hourly rate of $45-$65 based on experience will be offered to licensed school-based professionals.
