Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required or in progress
- Previous work in school-based therapy strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators and families
Location: Maple Valley, Washington (Travel assignment)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support communication, language, and swallowing needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, aides, and healthcare providers
- Document patient progress and prepare detailed reports in compliance with school and licensing regulations
- Provide family education and guidance to reinforce therapy goals outside the clinical setting
