Travel School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Maple Heights, Ohio
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive therapy services in a school setting, specializing in preschool-aged children. This travel position is based in Maple Heights, OH, serving approximately 40-45 students with diverse communication needs. The assignment runs ASAP through the end of the school year, with potential opportunities for summer and next school year placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students’ progress
- Deliver therapy services in-person with potential teletherapy components as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of student evaluations, goals, and progress reports
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and planning sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) credential preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in both school and healthcare environments
