Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Del Valle, TX
A school-based speech-language professional is needed to support PreK through 5th grade students in an elementary school setting located in Del Valle, TX. This contract runs through May 27, 2026, aligning with the current school year calendar. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with an emphasis on onsite presence, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 65-70 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to PreK-5th grade students in compliance with district protocols.
- Conduct assessments and maintain all required documentation and testing as per guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student progress.
- Provide services mostly on-site three days per week; remaining days may be virtual contingent on meeting testing and service requirements.
- Utilize district-supplied computers and testing materials in service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required.
- Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience with school-based caseloads preferred, particularly with children in early elementary grades.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload of 65-70 students effectively.
- Flexibility in work scheduling and hybrid work capability for SLPs.
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week across 5 days.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Contract end date: May 27, 2026.
