Speech Language Pathologist in Chaska, MN
This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) interested in supporting K-8 students across two school sites in Minnesota. The position offers a contract from the current school year (CSY) with a potential renewal for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Details:
- Location: Chaska, MN
- Schedule: 30-32 hours per week, 4 days (Monday–Thursday) or 5 days (Monday–Friday), based on candidate preference
- Caseload: K-8 students
- Work setting: Split between two sites
- Start Date: ASAP through June 6, 2025
- Summer: No working hours during summer break
- Open to candidates who are SLP Certified/Certified Fluency (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Teletherapy options may be incorporated
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring to ensure compliance with school policies
- Support communication development through evidence-based practices, both in-person and via teletherapy as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure in Minnesota or appropriate credentials as an SLPA
- Experience working with school-age children, particularly K-8 populations
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate preferred workdays
